Posterobasal angle:- junction betn inferior border with lateral or anterior end of spleen.
Hilum :- lies betn superior and intermediate border. Pierces the branches and tributaries of splenic vessels.

Blood supply:-
1. Splenic artery branch of coeliac trunk.largest branch of coliac trunk.
Venous drainage:-
I. Splenic vein drain in to portal vein
Lymphatic drainage;-
Splenic tissue proper has no lymphatics.
Pancreatico splenic lymph node.
Nerve Supply:-Mainly sympathetic nerve

Palpitation of spleen:- normally spleen is not palpable, it's palpable when its size is twice to narmal..
Splenic puncture:- Common site left 9-10 intercostal space in mid axillary line.
Splenomegaly (Enlargement of spleen):- Malaria and typhoid
Splenectomy:- surgical Removal of spleen.
